Apple Releases the Second Beta of macOS 12.2, Now Available to Developers

The macOS 12.2 second beta for developers. The first beta of macOS after, just before the Christmas holidays, we saw the official launch of macOS 12.1 with several interesting news.

Development continues its course

Until June 2022, at WWDC, Apple presents the new macOS 13, we will continue to see developments in beta version of version 12.x. A version that, in his last build stable added SharePlay to the Mac and corrected some other errors while, incidentally, improved the performance of compatible machines.

The first beta of macOS 12.2, which we saw before Christmas, however, came without any noticeable novelty. Right now we do not know what we can find in this second beta of 12.2, let us remember, without going any further, that we are still waiting for the arrival of Universal Control.

If we want to enter the beta cycle we can do it by following these steps or create a bootable installer of the system, but it is necessary to bear in mind that we are talking about development versions containing bugs.

Already within the beta cycle, we will find the update within System preferences > Software update as an OTA update. During the first hours, Apple’s servers can receive more demand than usual, so the waiting time can be lengthened.
