Wave of contagions: what are the requirements to travel abroad

The national government recalled the current requirements for coronavirus for Argentines who travel abroad, among which are to complete the vaccination scheme, since it is a condition for entry to the vast majority of countries, and to have a Travel assistance insurance that covers Covid contagion.

In a joint statement, the Ministry of Health of the Nation together with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Directorate of Migration of the Ministry of the Interior, reported “some issues to take into account” so that Argentines who travel abroad can comply with the protocols in force in the current epidemiological scenario, both at the time of departure and stay at destination and upon arrival back to the country.

In this sense, they indicated “to complete the vaccination schedule and, in the cases where the conditions are met, to apply the booster dose”, given “that it is a requirement for entry to the vast majority of countries.” They also specified that it is essential “to always have travel assistance insurance against Covid contagion.”
