THEY ROB A FISCAL AND THE FOLLOWING DAY THEY ARE NAILED 24 YEARS IN PRISON

Jesús Enrique Caballero Cuevas, Keneth Alberto Camarena and Leoncio Abel Batista, availed themselves of a penalty agreement totaling 24 years in prison, after being charged with armed robbery at the house of anti-corruption prosecutor Omar Jaén in Arrimadero de Soná beach, Veraguas.

Caballero (with a criminal record) received 10 years in prison, while Camarena received seven years and Batista another seven, for being primary criminals.

The subjects of 19, 20 and 23 years old, are residents in the community of San Lorenzo, corregimiento del Tigre de Los Amarillos, in Soná.

These antisocials targeted their seven victims to steal $ 4,000 in cash and other valuables; those that were recovered through raids carried out by the Public Ministry through the legal authority of Soná.

The assailants used firearms and knives to subdue their victims, who were thrown to the ground and threatened, including minors. The family members of the deputy prosecutor were staying at the residence.
