A 48-year-old man who practiced kitesurfing in a nautical academy disappeared when he fell from his board in the Río de La Plata, near the Buenos Aires town of Hudson. After that, an important search operation was activated by the Prefecture, Civil Defense, tactical divers and trained dogs.
It is about Valentín de María, who was seen for the last time this Saturday, in the afternoon, when he practiced this sport at the Pilgrim Kite School. He was accompanied by a group of friends and his girlfriend, who, while on the coast, saw him fall and disappear. Noticing this, a person went to rescue him with a jet ski, but the current dragged the victim.
His girlfriend saw him fall and was the one who asked for help to activate his search, in which personnel from the Naval Prefecture and the Buenos Aires Police work.
The woman filed a complaint with the police station in the area and the Naval Prefecture was added to the search with specialized personnel, a jet ski, a semi-rigid, the GC-79 Río Deseado coast guard and a helicopter.
