Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in low hours: their popularity falls and their foundation is a failure

In 2019 they entered the ranking of the 25 most influential people in the world but now, two years later, they have fallen off the charts. The new lifestyle of the dukes of sussex it has not been liked by the public that previously supported them and its popularity has declined dramatically.

Beyond a wounded pride, this has dire consequences for their business and is that, according to the Daily Mail, the Archewell Foundation, that the Harry principle Y Meghan Markle created in honor of his son Archie, it is a complete failure. The charity has barely raised € 50,000 in its first year, an amount that doesn’t even cover the dukes’ legal team fees in the last twelve months.

The lack of donations to the foundation is a clear message for them and they have received it with sadness. Archewell’s continuity is on the line, but it’s not the only thing at risk due to the popularity of the Sussexes: their latest project, a free podcast series with Spotify, is also on the air. They announced their collaboration in December 2020 but today, more than a year later, there is no trace of them.

The news, of course, is not a surprise for Harry and Meghan, since last September a British survey was carried out whose data were not at all flattering for the couple. According to the international group YouGov (specialized in data analysis and market research), the popularity of the prince went from 43% to 34% and that of Meghan from 29% to 26% after the inflammatory interview they gave Oprah Winfrey. Two years earlier, Henry of England’s popularity ratings were 71% acceptance, while his wife’s were 55%.
