MEXICO CITY.- Before the confirmation of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador about his second contagion of COVID-19, personalities of Mexican politics, especially from his Morena party, issued different messages on social networks.
“Much strength, President! We hope that he will recover soon. The people of Mexico are with you ”, wrote for example Mario Delgado, president of Morena.
“I wish a speedy recovery to President Andrés Manuel. I’m sure that His strength of spirit will allow him to get ahead again very soon ”, dedicated the coordinator of Morena in the Upper House, Ricardo Monreal.
“Dear President: I hope you get better very soon. His entire team is attentive to his recovery and dedicated to the tasks he has entrusted to us. We trust that very soon he will be back in public activities, ”said Hugo López-Gatell, the person in charge of controlling the pandemic.
The president of the Senate Board of Directors, Olga Sánchez Cordero, sent him a “supportive hug from a distance” and wrote: “I hope you recover soon, because we are facing a great transformation, a great future, a strengthened and extraordinary Mexican Nation, which you lead and which does not stop ”.
Santiago Nieto, former head of the Financial Intelligence Unit, said “Best wishes to the President” so that he “has a speedy recovery.”
Even one of his political rivals, Ricardo Anaya, shared via Twitter: “I wish the president a speedy and complete recovery.” While that former President Felipe Calderón said: “I sincerely wish him well.”
