At least a dozen cats have been found wandering around one of the areas affected by the eruption of the La Palma volcano, “on a path covered by ash and blocked by lava in the exclusion zone,” according to their social networks. the photographer Emilio Morenatti, author of the photograph.

According to the animal platform Leales.org, these are abandoned, lost or colonies that mix to eat and survive. He warns that in the image “you can see the roads cut off and cut off by the solidified wash […] waiting for food ”.

“Cats, as always, are the great invisible ones and those who have the worst time, and they are less adopted than dogs”, indicates the platform. “Leales.org has distributed thousands of euros to animal associations, shelters and foundations on La Palma, thanks to the donation campaign to help the animals affected by the volcano,” he says.

1,500 euros for a proof of life of the podencos

Leales.org continues trying to verify that the hounds rescued by the self-described Team A, in a pond of Todoque, they are still alive, although he already considers them dead.

Now, it is the famous animalist Germán Molina who challenges the Team A, tripling the reward, up to 1,500 euros, for a simple video that shows that the La Palma hounds remain alive. “I’m sure they are dead,” says the Andalusian in a video published this Friday on social networks.
