TBILISI, 9 Nov – Sputnik. The seventh Tbilisi International Baroque Music Festival will be held from November 10 to December 8 and will traditionally bring together famous Georgian and foreign artists in the capital of Georgia. The festival will open with a concert “Georgian and European Church Music” on the small stage of the National Theater. Sh. Rustaveli. The organizers remind that all concerts will be held subject to covid recommendations: masks, disinfection, social distance. The annual Tbilisi International Baroque Festival was founded in 2015 by the Tbilisi the state chamber orchestra “Symphonietta of Georgia” with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia. Over the years, the best performers of baroque music have become guests of the festival: Spanish gambist Jordi Saval, Italian bassoonist Sergio Azzolini and cellist David Amadio, German violinist Christine Bush, French harpsichordist Jean Rondo, orchestra of the “Berlin Academy of Old Music” and many others. TBILISI, 9 Nov – Sputnik. The seventh Tbilisi International Festival of Baroque Music will be held from November 10 to December 8 and will traditionally bring together famous Georgian and foreign artists in the capital of Georgia.

The program includes performances by the Georgian Symphonietta Chamber Orchestra, the Basiani Georgian Folk Song Ensemble, the Tbilisi Modern Ballet by Georgiy Aleksidze and others.

Foreign guests include Italian singer and dancer Vincenzo Capezutto, Italian trio “I Bassifondi” and French mezzo-soprano singer Natalie Perez.

Choral music festival takes place in Tbilisi
