Although Carla Vizzotti had already announced that international borders would be opened for the date, the government today confirmed the news. Travelers will have to present an electronic affidavit 48 hours before, incorporating a negative PCR test at origin with sample collection up to 72 hours beforehand, or a medical discharge certificate if they have contracted the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the last 90 days. Then a PCR test will be requested between the fifth and seventh day of your arrival.

Certain requirements must be met, according to the vaccination schedule. The person who arrives in the country without having the complete scheme must complete isolation for 7 days and, after that, undergo an antigen test and a PCR to confirm the result, while the visitor who does have a complete scheme, for at least 14 days before entering the country, and they meet the aforementioned requirements, they will be exempt from antigen testing and isolation.

In turn, the Ministry of Health will offer doses at border points for tourists under 18 years of age without a complete scheme. It also reported that “tourists or non-resident foreigners must have insurance with COVID-19 coverage, while children under six years of age who enter the country accompanied by adults will be exempt from carrying out antigen and PCR tests, but they must comply with it. with the seven-day quarantine ”.

Finally, the Argentine State has already defined how it will proceed if the foreign tourist tests positive for coronavirus. They must remain isolated for ten days in the devices provided by the national State in cases of entry through the Ezeiza International Airport, Aeroparque or San Fernando; and in the other cases in the devices defined by the provinces according to their protocols.
