MOTORCYCLE – In 2020, he became the first Frenchman to win a grand prize in the premier class. A year and a half later, Fabio Quartararo becomes GP Moto World Champion.

The 22-year-old driver from Nice finished fourth in the Grand Prix d’Emilie Romagna contested this Sunday 24 October. He especially took advantage of the retirement of Francesco Bagnaia, the only driver who could still beat him.

The Frenchman, who rides a Yamaha motorcycle, finished second last season. In 2021, thanks to five victories, he became the greatest French rider in motorcycle history. In the history books of motorsport, he now takes place next to Alain Prost, the only French Formula 1 world champion.
