Election posters depicting James Bond were posted in Tbilisi. Telegram-channel “Sputnik Georgia” writes about it.
Ironic posters in the Georgian capital appeared on the eve of the second round of municipal elections.
The banners depict actor Daniel Craig as Agent 007. His portrait is accompanied by the inscription “No Time to Dawdle”, which became a reference to the title of the last Bond film “No Time to Die.”
On October 30, the second stage of local elections will take place in several cities of Georgia. In particular, the incumbent mayor of the ruling Georgian Dream party Kakha Kaladze and the opposition candidate of the former Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili’s United National Movement (UNM) Nika Melia will compete for the post of Tbilisi mayor.
Earlier, during the first stage of municipal elections in Tbilisi, Rustavi, Batumi, Kutaisi and Poti, neither Georgian Dream, nor opposition parties, including the UNM, were able to get more than 50 percent of the vote.
