‘Pasapalabra’ has a new contestant from this Wednesday. After losing against Orestes, Javier Estrada was forced to fight again for his permanence in ‘The blue chair’, however, this time he could not beat the aspiring contestant. Jesús arrived on the program on September 28, just after Sofía Álvarez de Eulate managed to get the 466,000 euro jackpot. Now, after 12 deliveries, this 38-year-old computer engineer has said goodbye to ‘Pasapalabra’ with a total of 4,200 euros.
And who is the new contestant? His name is Javier García, he comes from Villafranca de los Caballeros, Toledo, and is a surveyor by profession. Curiously, he competes with the rosco of ‘Pasapalabra’, since he is the creator of the one known as #RoscoKiller. “Weekly for three years I have published a rosco with the most difficult words,” he explained during his presentation.
More than a competition, according to Javier, his donut is a complement to the program. “It is also a way of training myself, of being in contact with the program and that today I can be here.” The #RoscoKiller is a game well known by the followers of ‘Pasapalabra’ and, of course, also by some of the historical contestants. Orestes Barbero or Pablo Díaz, without going any further, have on occasion put their knowledge to the test with this particular donut.

Javier debuted this Wednesday as a contestant, although it is not the first time he has stepped on the set of ‘Pasapalabra’. In the middle of last June, Orestes’s new rival attended the program as a mere spectator. On that date, Pablo Díaz was still fighting for a pot that already reached 1,762,000 euros. It was precisely the Canarian contestant who wanted to have a few words for Javier after acknowledging that he was also preparing for the final test with the #RoscoKiller.

As Pablo explained, it is about a donut that Javier raises through his Twitter account “only with difficult words.” “Hence Luis [de Lama] and I have gotten many words that later, maybe, have come out here [en el programa]”.
The presenter, already then, made it clear that Javier could become a full-fledged contestant: “Today he is in public, but maybe one day we’ll see him compete. Going through the casting, of course. “Four months later, Javier García has become Orestes Barbero’s new rival.
In his first program Javier could not defeat Orestes, but he starred in a great duel. He got 22 words right compared to 23 of his rival. And although he risked until the end, he could not force a tie.
