They raise to four the dogs trapped in ponds due to the lava on La Palma

The maneuver promoted by the company specialized in drones Aerocámaras and in contact with the Animalista Platform Leales.org is seeing some legal problems when it comes to processing the necessary permits through the relevant agencies to rescue the hounds trapped in the ponds from Todoque, on La Palma, as a result of lava flows from the erupting volcano. That is why they ask the public to disseminate this information in order to pressure and obtain the relevant permits to rescue the animals.

It should be remembered that at least four dogs remain trapped on La Palma due to the advance of the lava flows and the ash from the volcano. These dogs have been fed by drones for two days, but there are fears for their lives given the harmful effects of the volcano’s gases as well as the advance of lava.

Jaime Pereira, CEO of Aerocamaras, had told Leales.org that although the procedures are frequent and should not be complicated, he does need the appropriate permits for these special maneuvers, which are already undergoing the first tests. However, these permits are getting complicated in the last hours and they remind that this maneuver is “against the clock.”
