The Microcredits for Wellbeing Program, better known as Batches for Wellbeing, continues in force, with the aim of strengthening economic activity and employment.
‘Tandas for Wellbeing’, is part of the 30 priority projects promoted by the Government of Mexico and has the objective of supporting the citizen sector that has not had access to the services offered by the traditional financial sector to start a business or consolidate an existing one.
This government program contemplates providing advice and training to promote the consolidation of productive activities and also provides support through initial or subsequent financing, the amounts of which do not apply any interest to the beneficiaries and will be delivered to the beneficiaries individually as long as they comply with the required guidelines.
Although it was originally planned to grantr 500 thousand microcredits, until April of 2020, more of five million merchants they signed up to get them.
Requirements to request a welfare microcredit.
Application to join the program.
Proof of address no longer than three months.
Be between 30 and 67 years old.
Have a business with more than six months of operation, which is not in the agricultural or mining sector.
Personal and business information to fill out a card.
Be a resident of a municipality or locality belonging to the program’s coverage areas (medium, high or very high marginalization according to the classification of the National Population Council).
Be between 30 and 67 years of age at the time of joining the program.
Have a non-agricultural micro-business with more than six months of operation.
Reside in a municipality or locality in the program’s coverage area.
Modality Month 13 and Youth Building the Future:
Be a graduate of the JCF.
Express interest in starting a micro-business.
Have completed the training course to start a micro-business.
What are the amounts?
First: 6 thousand pesos.
Second: 10 thousand pesos.
Third: 15 thousand pesos.
Fourth: 20 thousand pesos.
When the beneficiaries have fully or partially reimbursed their support and are up to date with their reimbursements, they will be able to obtain subsequent support directly, even without having completed their reimbursement scheme.
