Sarah-Lee Heinrich defends herself: “She can’t speak”: Elke Heidenreich insults young greens – the network is raging
Literary critic Elke Heidenreich attacked the federal spokeswoman of the Green Youth Sarah-Lee Heinrich in a downright angry speech and insulted the 20-year-old for her earlier statements on Twitter as well as judging her origin. The net is shocked: Heidenreich’s words are “underground”, “racist” and full of “viciousness”.
Literary critic Elke Heidenreich was in a rage in Markus Lanz’s talk show about the federal spokeswoman for the Green Youth, Sarah-Lee Heinrich, and violently attacked the 20-year-old for statements made in the past.
When Lanz addressed the fact that Heinrich had been annoyed in a discussion program about the “disgusting white majority society”, Heidenreich took the opportunity to renew her criticism. “She has no language at all, she cannot speak at all,” she initially attacked the 20-year-old, not in terms of content, but all the harder in terms of linguistic expression. “These are children again who do not read. This is the generation of which I notice again and again how speechless they are, unable to deal with words.”
Heidenreich judges tweets – and then brings Heinrich’s skin color into play
Heidenreich considers it out of the question that Heinrich signed a tweet with “Heil” when he was a teenager. “There are certain jokes that don’t work. I have the feeling that this is a girl who doesn’t think enough.” Lanz emphasizes that she is at least the spokeswoman for the Green Youth. “She can’t speak at all, she must first learn to formulate correctly,” Heidenreich countered and then came back to Heinrich’s origins. “That people say, the main thing is diverse, the main thing is a migration background, the main thing is that the quota is the main thing – that’s the wrong way to go.”
Netz shakes about Heidenreich: “Shameful, sexist, racist”
Heidenreich’s statements are shameful, writes columnist Karla Paul on Twitter. “It is sexist and racist and shows ignorance and a lack of knowledge of modern communication, and it is empathetic and disrespectful,” said Paul. “Mrs. Heidenreich – read so much and understood so little.”
Green MP Aminata Touré writes that Heidenreich’s statements are full of “malevolence”, another user calls her words “underground.” at the top of the league of disgusting TV appearances, “is another comment.
Heinrich counters: “I actually use a lot of words for that”
Heinrich has received death threats in the past few days for the statements she made when she was 13 and 14 years old. She is therefore in exchange with security authorities, she told “Die Zeit”. Heinrich apologized for her tweets, at the time she considered discriminatory jokes to be normal. Now she knows that that was wrong and hurtful – one of the reasons why she deleted the tweets many years ago. “Slogans with ideas of violence, with discrimination are not just slogans, they are bad. And I apologize for that,” said Heinrich.
Heidenreich’s statement that she could not speak is resisted by Heinrich in the “Zeit” interview with a slight irony. The last time she read the book “The Hunger Games,” she said. “I’ve also been politically active for a few years. And I actually use a lot of words for that,” Heinrich continues. You will not withdraw from the public – “then the Shitstorm would have reached its goal”. She is looking forward to representing the Green Youth as federal spokeswoman.
