Russian travelers were told that the cost of vouchers to Turkish resorts in 2022 will remain at the current year’s level. This information appeared on the website of the Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR).
“We are talking about prices in euros. If the exchange rate of the European currency against the ruble will decrease, then, accordingly, the cost of rest in rubles will also decrease, ”said Ercument Yunalan, general director of the tour operator Coral Travel.
In addition, the specialist said that a number of companies have already opened early booking of tours to the republic for the next year. According to him, rush demand for vouchers is not expected, since many travelers are afraid to plan a vacation in advance due to the possibility of new restrictive measures or border closures by the Turkish authorities.
“Nevertheless, these sales are already underway. As always, discounts on early booking at its first stage now reach 50 percent, ”the expert emphasized, noting that some of the tours that were canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic will also be postponed to 2022.
Earlier in October, the head of Rostourism Zarina Doguzova announced that Turkey had promised to strengthen measures to ensure the safety of Russian tourists at resorts. In particular, we are talking about monitoring the quality of lifeguards in the pool area and installing additional navigation signs in hotels.
