Michael Wendler (49) has found a new place to stay. Not just any house, but an expensive villa to rent. As “Bild” reports, the hit star pays 6300 euros a month. A lot of money, but now he has 30 square meters more living space.
The expensive property is located on the Babcock Ranch in south Florida – a closed complex under palm trees. All houses there are only operated with solar energy.
Wendler presses one million euros in debt at the tax office in Germany. But after selling his house, Wendler doesn’t even think about paying these debts.
Wendler describes himself as a “single man” when selling a house
Wendler bags the profit from the sale for 770,000 euros himself. “The real estate market is on fire here and of course you should take advantage of that. We will only stay in my current apartment building for just under a year. After that, I have something new to do,” he explains.
He left open what his plans would be for the next year. Instead, his wife Laura (21) posted a photo last weekend of how both of them turtle and eat ice cream together under the Florida sun.
Michael Wendler and wife Laura “Mega Dream Team”
When selling a house, however, Wendler referred to himself as a “single man”. Does that mean you have to worry about your current marriage?
“Single Man ‘is not the name for the status of the relationship, but rather whether you are the sole owner of the house that you are selling,” says Wendler. But that’s not true. An expert told “Bild” that “Single Man” means being single or unmarried.
The background could be that Wendler wants to avoid further claims by his ex-wife Claudia Norberg (50). The singer moved into the house with her five years ago. Both were still married at the time. So the house actually belonged to both of them.
Now we are looking ahead, even if Wendler receives a big monthly rent invoice. Much more important to him is his wife Laura. Both want to enjoy their time and concentrate on new future projects. “Laura and I are happy and a mega dream team!” Explains Wendler.
