Lava flow overflows into the main cone of La Palma's Cumbre Vieja volcano

The lava flow of the Cumbre Vieja volcano (La Palma) has overflowed the main cone. This is evidenced by a video recorded by the Canary Islands Volcanological Institute (Involcán).

This fact -which has occurred after two in the afternoon, Canary time; one more hour in the Peninsula and the Balearic Islands- it also occurs a few hours after the earthquake of 4.5 degree that shook the island at dawn this Thursday, and that has been registered by the National Geographic Institute of Spain.

Its about more intense shaking since the beginning of the eruption of Cumbre Vieja, after the one registered last October 7, with a magnitude of 4.3.
