'Eau de Almeida', the aroma of your city: the PSOE campaign against the "uncollected garbage" in Madrid

The mayor of Madrid, José Luis Martínez-Almeida, already has its own perfume, the Almeida water, with which you can enjoy a scent of “uncollected garbage” and “perpetual traffic jams”. It is available in two editions: a bottle with the most recognizable characteristics of the councilor (such as his glasses and his hair) and another with a sleepy woman who poses on some debris.

A few lucky ones have been able to smell it this Thursday in front of the Palacio de Cibeles, headquarters of the Madrid City Council. There, the Municipal Socialist Group has presented it as part of a campaign fake which aims to denounce what is, according to his nose, “the aroma” of the city of Madrid: waste and polluting gases.

They do not skimp on means to promote the product. The Socialists have posters and twenty bicycles that will tour all the districts of the capital for four days. It is his way of making visible that “Madrid is dirty, jammed and has a noise problem”, as explained by the spokesperson for the Municipal Socialist Group, Sea Espinar.

Espinar and the rest of the Socialist councilors have pedaled to the Madrid City Council to present a campaign that seeks to “make visible what some want to make invisible”: “Madrid will not have a mayor, but we want the neighbors to have a PSOE that listens to their demands, that they makes theirs theirs and gives them visibility to their problems “.

From the environment of the mayor they celebrate that the PSOE has decided to “abandon politics and try their luck in the world of advertising”: “In view of their electoral results, they are sure to do better“.
