The echoes of the Centennial celebrations still persist. After the documentary at the Municipal Theater and the toast with leaders, former leaders, partners and old glories, Defensores de Cambaceres once again threw the house out the window, this time, to celebrate the 1-0 victory over Sportivo Barracas, which leaves very close to the tip.
In the midst of the furor over what it meant to celebrate 100 years of the life of an institution with a rich history, the team led by Carlos Da Ponte once again brought another joy to its people.
The victory over the “Arrabalero” was fundamental, in his quest to win the Clausura tournament. Because he arrived in Ensenada undefeated and being the only leader. But as happened a few days ago with Puerto Nuevo, Cambaceres had the pleasure of bringing it down from the top and becoming the only undefeated in the championship.
El Rojo once again showed that he is up for great things. What has a football level to be in another category. However, and in this eagerness to get promoted to the top division, he continues to drop dolls with a superlative game and consolidate his identity.
Right from the start, Cambaceres showed his weapons to Sportivo Barracaas. At 5 minutes, Sebastián Ybares, with his usual scorer quota, shook the afternoon in Ensenada with a goal that, in the end, is priced in gold.
After that conquest, the team established itself better on the field of play. With an “impassable” Rosas Quintero in the last line; with the ruffles displaying their usual dynamics; with Esteban Coronel as standard bearer when it comes to recovering the ball. And with a lethal offense, with men who know their work very well.
With all these attributes, Cambaceres rounded off another convincing performance that invites you to dream big. There are five dates left to reach the first major goal of this season.
Winning the Clausura and then playing a final for promotion with Puerto Nuevo is everyone’s wish. It is a matter of continuing to believe in an ambitious, coherent, well-structured team, and above all, “hungry for glory”.
PARADE IN THE PREVIEW OF THE MATCH
In the framework of the Centennial celebrations, yesterday the athletes of Cambaceres, in their various disciplines, put color in the preview of the match with a colorful parade.
Then, the Red leadership gave a distinction (diploma) to each of the judges who directed the match yesterday, within the framework of the Referee’s Week.
Finally, it was confirmed that the next Cambaceres presentation will take place next Monday, when he visits Central Ballester, on the Atlas field.
