Bastrykin gave instructions on the case of the rape of a schoolgirl in Volgograd

Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR) Alexander Bastrykin instructed the head of the regional department of the TFR to personally report to him about the investigation into the rape of a 15-year-old schoolgirl in Volgograd. The case was put under control in the central office.

The crime became known on October 13. According to investigators, on the evening of October 10, the girl was returning home when an unknown man attacked and raped her. Biological traces were found on the victim’s clothes. It turned out that they belong to a fugitive prisoner, a native of Ulyanovsk, 29-year-old Dmitry Milokhov.

Sentenced to prison for property crimes, Milokhov fled from the colony-settlement of the Ulyanovsk region and arrived in Volgograd, where he attacked a schoolgirl. A criminal case was opened against him under clause “a” of part 3 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Violent acts of a sexual nature against a minor”), as well as part 1 of article 161 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Robbery”). On October 13, he was put on the wanted list.
