Representatives of the neighborhoods, with Julio garro and officials / el dia

Representatives of the organization that brings together different neighborhoods of La Plata, in a security claim, met with Mayor Julio Garro; the Secretary of Public Policies in Security and Justice, Darío Ganduglia and the Director of Citizen Security, Daniel Castellani. From Barrios Unidos they indicated that they received from the Commune the commitment to meet these demands.

Neighbors, it turned out, specified their requests for “lights, pruning, security cameras and patching,” among other issues that they consider central.

At the meeting, officials and neighbors agreed to design “weekly and monthly plans to work on these aspects by neighborhoods.” And the authorities promised “static and mobile operations in the urban area and in the periphery”, with personnel from the City’s Citizen Guard, as a way of prevention, in order to join those that, eventually, the Police may decide to carry out.
