A gang of black realtors caught in the murder of several Muscovites

The Prosecutor General’s Office has completed an investigation into the murder of several Moscow residents by people who illegally seized their apartments for the purpose of further sale. According to law enforcement agencies, seven elderly citizens suffered from black realtors, writes RIA Novosti with reference to the supervisory agency.

The materials with the indictment in the criminal case against three malefactors: Gabil Veliyev, Huseyn Huseynov and Emin Salimov were transferred to the Novgorod region court for consideration on the merits. The gang members got caught on the fact that they took away real estate in a criminal way from lonely elderly Muscovites who abuse alcohol.

“From January 2007 to September 2008, Salimov, Huseynov, together with accomplices, including Makhir Pashayev and Zhanna Parshuk, as part of an organized group led by Veliyev, killed seven Moscow residents in order to take possession of their apartments for subsequent sale,” the press explained -prosecutor’s office service.

The suspects, who are accused of killing two or more persons in a helpless state, depending on their role, attracted victims, then took away their documents for apartments and passports. Then the people were taken to the Novgorod region and there they dealt with them. Pashayeva and Parshuk were sentenced to long terms of imprisonment in 2021.

In September, the Public Chamber (OP) proposed limiting the activities of realtors in Russia to the commercial part of real estate transactions, giving legal issues to notaries. Fraud in the sale of apartments remains an acute problem in the country. In 2020, more than 7.1 thousand crimes were committed in this area, according to the Federal Notary Chamber (FNP).
