The proposals

According to the Educational Agenda defined for 2022, teachers will return to school on Monday, February 7, while the boys will begin the Lective Cycle on Monday, February 21 of the same month.

Upon returning to the classroom, teachers will attend training sessions that will be massive, face-to-face and mandatory. For the first time, those who teach classes in private schools will join.

Thus, a total of 24,000 people will be trained.

The sum of free hours in a year historically resulted in the loss of between 3 and 5 days of school in high school. The objective of this program is the efficient use of time to transform it into a new instance of learning.

The proposal includes the strengthening of the figure of the preceptor so that he can follow the trajectory of the students.

To achieve this, 2,600 preceptors will be trained in order to provide them with useful tools to quickly detect possible learning problems; work on the social-bonding aspect of the students; in the importance of emotional well-being and a good school climate; among other topics.

Extended workday

Primary-level 6th and 7th grade students from all single-day state-run schools will have a mandatory Extended Day.

This means that 21,500 students will add the equivalent of 90 days of class per year.

Classes on Saturdays

The Centers for Accompaniment to School Trajectories (CATE) were implemented in 2020 to reinforce the contents of primary and secondary students through extra classes on Saturdays.

In 2022, attendance will be compulsory for all 1st year high school students who are in Accompanied Promotion.

This year 8,300 boys attend secondary level and 3,200 primary level.

Summer and Winter School

The Summer and Winter School will be held once again. These instances have the purpose of intensifying the teaching of the prioritized content during school breaks for those students who need it.

In 2021, 18,000 kids attended classes during the winter break.
