In Vladivostok, a man robbed a store, threatening the seller with a lighter like a pistol, stealing alcohol and cigarettes. The robber wanted to crank his maneuver twice, but he was captured while he was trying to make a second raid on the same outlet, according to the Russian Interior Ministry’s Primorsky Territory.
The seller told the police that an unknown person entered the alcohol store, began to threaten him with an object that looked like a pistol and demanded to give him alcohol and cigarettes, after which he left.
“An investigative and operational group left for the scene. At the moment when the officers of the Criminal Investigation Department seized the recording from the CCTV cameras, the “would-be criminal” returned and again, under the threat of an object that looked like a pistol, demanded that the seller give him a portion of alcohol, “the message says.
The attacker tried to escape, but he was detained by the police officers who are in the next room. It turned out to be a 31-year-old local resident who admitted that he was drunk and did not think about his act before committing it. A criminal case was opened against him and a written undertaking not to leave the place was taken.
Earlier it became known that in St. Petersburg, two unknown men wearing masks and with weapons broke into a bank branch on Bolshevikov Avenue (Nevsky District) and took about two million rubles. The identities of the criminals are being established.
