Rui Moreira and the PSD signed an agreement on stability and governance this Wednesday, after several days of talks between the independent movement and the Social Democrats, confirmed the TVI.
The decision will allow the executive to approve the next four budgets of the Porto City Council and the governability of the city.
This agreement is made with the aim of guaranteeing government stability and agreeing on measures for the future of the city”, can be read in a document that the newspaper Public had access.
Social Democrats thus ensure the incorporation of some of their main proposals for the governance of the city of Porto. Among them are the transfer of skills to the parishes, the reduction of the tax burden, measures for mobility and the creation of a network of crèches and the reduction of the water bill.
According to the document, the independent Movement undertakes to support the candidacy of the PSD candidate for president of the Municipal Assembly, Sebastião Feyo de Azevedo.
