Today and tomorrow the XII Centennial Generation Conference and its projection in the Argentine Northwest will be held at the Rougès Cultural Center. “Towards a comprehensive history of the NOA” 1900-1950, with the auspices of the Board of Historical Studies of Tucumán. They will be held, in the mornings from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., in person at the headquarters of the Cultural Center (Laprida 31), respecting all the protocols and capacity of capacity according to the health measures for Covid-19, and in the afternoons, virtually from 4:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., through Google Meet at the following link: ftv-xupa-hyc. Researchers from the history and culture of the NOA will participate with historical communications referred to the society of the Northwest in general, to the peoples of the interior, to the analysis of the changes operated in the political evolution, outstanding actors and figures and all cultural manifestations (art , architecture, literature, etc.) in the period 1900-1950. There is also an extraordinary agenda: History of Natural and Exact Sciences and Archeology in Tucumán and El Noa: scientists, institutions, actions and achievements (17th to 21st centuries). Since 1995, the research team of the Rougès Center has developed the research project on the Centennial Generation. It carries out important editorial work aimed at promoting and disseminating historical research related to the subject and organizes study days that, with a multidisciplinary approach, studies, analyzes and deepens on the different aspects of the history and culture of the NOA of the first middle of the 20th century.
