Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- From last night until this morning, the Mazatlan International Airport “Rafael Buelna Tenorio” remained closed as a result of the passage of the hurricane pamela along the shores of the port.
Victor Vladimir Ramírez del Ángel, Administrator of the airport complex, commented that the damage caused by Hurricane Pamela to the airport had been minimal.
“He is doing well, there were minor effects such as some falls from trees and detached sheets and they are really minor effects.”
He clarified that the premises of the property are operable, however by recommendations of Civil Protection they determined to suspend activities from Tuesday night.

Ramírez del Ángel pointed out that it is estimated that shortly after 10:00 hours the Mazatlán airport will resume activities.
