Anselmo 'Chemito' Moreno assures that he will not give away his world ranking

Former world champion Anselmo ‘Chemito’ Moreno assured that he will not allow himself to be taken away from the high world ranking he has in the featherweight category of the World Boxing Association (WBA) when he faces Colombian Walberto Ramos tomorrow Friday.

The fight, agreed to 10 rounds and 126 pounds, will be the stellar fight of the function ‘Poker de Ases 2’, which will be hosted by the Roberto Durán arena and which is organized by the company Laguna Premium Boxing Promotions.

“We know that we are on the verge of contesting a world title. This fight is one of preparation, so we will not let Colombia take the victory, ”said ‘Chemito’ Moreno in the final press conference for said sporting event.

Moreno, world ranked No. 2 featherweight in the WBA, said that he had already done the hard work and all that remains is to implement everything he has trained.

“I’m ready, ready for the primer. On the day of the fight, it only remains to try not to touch me and get him out as soon as possible, ”Moreno added.

Regarding his rival, the former bantamweight world champion said that even though he has beaten two Panamanians, he does not know him.

“I know that he is an experienced boxer, that he knows how to fight, but I also know how to box. The one with the most hunger to win will win, “he said.

In other fights in the show, former world champion Jezreel ‘El Invisible’ Corrales will face Peru’s Jesús Bravo at 10 rounds and 137 pounds. For his part, world-class super featherweight Ricardo ‘El Científico’ Núñez will face Dominican Richard Solano at 10 rounds and 135 pounds.

Alberto ‘Metralleta’ Mosquera will face Ecuadorian Abel Mina at 10 rounds and 154 pounds. Other interesting fights will be part of the boxing function.
