This new shipment, made up of 97,110 new doses of vaccines, was received on behalf of the National Government by the medical director of the East Panama Health Region, Carlos Batista.
Panama- The thirty-eighth lot from Pfizer vaccines against Covid-19, arrived in the country this Tuesday, which will allow to continue with the vaccination process that develops the Operation PanavaC-19 Throughout the national territory.
This new shipment, composed of 97,110 new doses of vaccines was received on behalf of the National government for him medical director of the Health Region of Panama East, Carlos Batista.
To the date Panama has received a total of 7,793,940 doses the vaccine against Covid-19, including the one arrived in the country today, as confirmed by the Ministry of Health.

According to Batista, “This shipment reinforces the PanavaC-19 strategy, at the moment we have had a significant decrease in cases in the Eastern Region, a month ago we had 200 active cases, this week we are reporting only 73 cases and 66 in home isolation is the the lowest figure we have had and we hope it will continue to decrease ”.
Until yesterday, Monday, through the Expanded Program on Immunization (DAD), the Minsa realized that the 75.5% of the population fit to be vaccinated, yes fulfilled with the full scheme from immunization against Covid-19.
