In an interview with FOCUS Online Judith Williams said: “I find the word inappropriate. You emphasize that all other women have no power. Nobody ever speaks of a ‘power man’. Why does this have to be emphasized with a woman? “
“Den of the Lions” judge Judith Williams: “As bosses, women have to remain authentic”
Williams, who has been a juror for “The Lion’s Den” since 2014, thinks it is important that women go their own way and stay true to themselves – especially when they are making a career: “Women in management positions often lack role models. They only have men around them and they think: ‘Aha, this is how a boss must behave.’ So women start, often unconsciously, to copy the behavior of men instead of developing their own feminine way of leading are, the emotional, the meaningful, the human, women actually find it easier. That is why it is even more important to be authentic. “
For Williams, it is not so important whether her children will join her one day: “I am most pleased when you say: I lead a fulfilling, meaningful life and I am a satisfied person. This is my top priority. The joy of the company would be the add-on. It is not a must. I know how hard it is to start and run a company. Many only see the fruits, but not the work. “
