The president of the Government, Pedro Sanchez, will return this Wednesday to The Palm, in which it will be his fourth trip to the island since the eruption of the Cumbre Vieja volcano began on September 19, as announced by the Government spokesperson, Isabel Rodríguez.
Sánchez chaired this Monday the meeting of the Mixed Commission for the reconstruction, recovery and support of the island of La Palma, during which the measures adopted a week ago by the Executive were analyzed, according to Rodríguez in the press conference. after the Council of Ministers.
The Prime Minister traveled to La Palma on September 19, hours after the eruption began, where he stayed until the 22nd, when he traveled to New York to attend the UN General Assembly.
Sánchez returned on September 23 to accompany the Kings on their visits to the affected areas and to offer his support to the victims and stayed until the next day. His last visit to the island took place on October 2.
