'Outlander': the first trailer of season 6 delves into the calm before the imminent revolution

It has been over a year since we last saw the favorite Scots on television and at the NYCC, Starz has released the first trailer for season 6 of ‘Outlander’, which will arrive sometime in the beginning of 2022. In Spain we can see it on Movistar +.

With the dawn of a great revolution (we would be in 1772) threatening the protagonists, the new season will adapt ‘Viento y ceniza’, the sixth installment of the saga created by Diana Gabaldon. Of course, it will only consist of eight episodes instead of the usual between twelve and thirteen. In return, season 7 will be longer (16).

The details of the plot are still relatively unknown beyond seeing how Claire and Jamie try to make a new life in North Carolina seeing that they have left a conflict in the old continent to enter another in the new world. Also, we have a couple of pending assignments like developing Claire’s rape trauma.

Caitriona Balfe as Claire and Sam Heughan as Jamie, lead a cast that they join Jessica Reynolds, Alexander Vlahos y Mark Lewis Jones. Richard Rankin, Sohie Skelton, John Bell, Lauren Lyle and César Domboy will also be in these new episodes.
