Two young people who were driving yesterday morning on a food delivery motorcycle by application suffered an accident on the streets of the Villa Universidad neighborhood, where they skidded to avoid hitting a truck, whose driver left the site.
Of the two motorcyclists, only the driver was injured and was taken by his relatives to a hospital.
The events occurred around 09:30 hours when Francisco Javier A., 24, was driving on a peripheral aboard an Italika motorcycle accompanied by a friend, who preferred not to reveal his data.
The young people informed the Municipal Transit authorities, who came to know what happened, that before reaching Manuel Othon, on the Colonia Villa Universidad, a van in front of them suddenly braked.
To avoid hitting the vehicle, Francisco braked, but this caused him to lose control of the motorcycle, which wobbled from side to side and finally ended up skidding and falling injured on the pavement.
Francisco had a probable fracture in his left knee, for which an ambulance was called to the 911 Emergency System, arriving a Red Cross ambulance, where the paramedics provided him with care.
After the assessment, the motorcycle driver was going to be taken to the hospital, but relatives arrived and said that they would take care of it, leaving the site to transfer him to receive medical attention and rule out serious injuries.
As there was no impact, the driver of the truck that caused the motorcycle accident did not stop.
