Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic commented on the country’s military future. He said that the republic plans to improve its defenses, RIA Novosti reports.
Following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Vucic promised to maintain the country’s military neutrality. According to him, the country will remain in this status.
“We are proud of this and, in accordance with this, we will continue not only to defend our country, but also to develop our defense capacities so that every potential aggressor would forget about this intention – to endanger the freedom of Serbia,” Vucic stressed during a press conference.
Earlier, Vucic named the main reason for the gas crisis in Europe. In his opinion, the EU countries have not signed long-term contracts for supplies from Russia on time. The President of the Republic believes that this circumstance has become the main reason for the crisis that has now developed in European countries.
