Sinaloa.- At the start of baseball season, the Director of Civil Protection of Guasave reported that a state agreement was made so that children under 12 years of age can access the stadium facilities, but said treatment has a very specific clause, since in case of not respecting the indications they will be banned from the stadium.
Macario Gaxiola Castro commented that due to the strong economic crisis in the municipality, they try to do everything possible not to affect the commercial sector.
Given the uncertainty of Guasavenses to know if minors under 12 years of age could enter, the club league Cotton and the state institute made an agreement where small citizens could enter the stadium with the aim that they too can enjoy the game, but also to stimulate the economy.
He stressed that said agreement has a clause in which it is stipulated that parents or guardians must hold their children accountable, so that they are not running and jumping through the stands, and from one place to another, otherwise they will be removed from the place for breaking the rules. The same will happen with those people who do not respect the sanitary measures.
He pointed out that it is very dangerous for the minor to be without parental supervision, since he could have or cause an accident.
“The child who is seen to come and go running, I am very sorry but the indications are very clear, we are going to have to remove them because we cannot go over the rules,” the official emphasized.
Gaxiola Castro expressed that in Guasave there is already a good culture in sanitary measures, for which the citizens have been very respectful with the protocols, it is for this reason that the agreement was made, with the purpose of not affecting the economic sector due to the ravages left by the Covid-19 pandemic.
“It is a pilot plan so that it does not affect the economy of the stadium and the jobs it will generate, so that there will continue to be movement within the municipality. The positive is that citizens already have a culture and respect health measures ”, explained the director.
