Suspected of embezzlement of public funds, the macronist Hubert Falco placed in police custody

Hubert Falco was Minister Delegate for the Elderly under Jacques Chirac and then Secretary of State several times, including under the mandate of Nicolas Sarkozy. Last August, he had co-signed a platform with several local elected officials to salute the actions of President Emmanuel Macron.

At his side, the president of the Var department council, Marc Giraud, would also be involved in this scandal and would also have been placed in police custody, suspected, according to Point, “For letting Hubert Falco continue to use this right of way”.
