A woman died and at least 14 other people were injured in a shooting that occurred at dawn this Sunday in a bar in the city of Saint Paul, the capital of Minnesota (USA), local police reported.
The Saint Paul Police Department indicated in a statement that so far there have been no detainees for this fact, the causes and perpetrators of which are the subject of investigation.
According to the Police, their units went to a crowded bar in the city shortly after midnight, where they found a “chaotic scene” with 15 people wounded by gunshots.
One of them, a woman in her 20s whose identity was not immediately revealed, died at the scene, while 14 other people were taken to hospitals in the area for treatment.
Police indicated that all the injured are expected to “survive.”
The local police chief, Todd Axtell, indicated that the people who were chatting at the bar, “in an instant, found themselves trapped in a hellish situation.”
“We will not stop until we find those responsible for this madness,” added Axtell.
Preliminary information indicates that there were “several” attackers with firearms.
The statement said the motive for the shooting “has not yet been determined.”
