Russian inspectors will inspect new weapons and equipment in Denmark

Russian inspectors will visit an airbase in Denmark and inspect new weapons and equipment, the event will be held in accordance with the Vienna Document 2011 on Confidence and Security Building Measures. This was announced by the head of the National Center for the Reduction of Nuclear Hazard Sergei Ryzhkov, quoted by TASS.

“During this event, Russian inspectors will be presented with the main tactical and technical characteristics of new types of weapons and military equipment, as well as demonstrated their combat capabilities,” Ryzhkov noted.

The Russians will visit the airbase from 11 to 15 October. The head of the center explained that the visit is being conducted to familiarize with the daily activities of the formation, including to observe training in the field.

Earlier, the US asked the “main question” for the Russian army. As the magazine Breaking Defense wrote, commenting on the completed joint exercises of Russia and Belarus Zapad-2021, “the real question from which to start evaluating the exercises is not what Russia brought with it, but what Russia left behind “.
