The town of Turn, in northern Italy, will host the next edition of theFestival de Eurovisin, according to several local media on Friday. The Italian city has won over 16 other candidate cities.
The grand finale of the Eurovision Song Contest will take place on May 14, 2022 in the PalaOlimpico pavilion in Turn, an installation that meets all the requirements demanded by the organization: an auditorium with 10,000 spectators (it has 18,000), an airport less than 90 minutes and hotel capacity for more than 2,000 people, among others. The semifinals will be held a few days before, on May 10 and 12, according to the newspaper The world.

RTVE “plans” to broadcast the semifinals of Eurovision 2022 on La 1
This Saturday, it has been confirmed that RTVE has “planned” that the semifinals of Eurovision 2022 will be broadcast on La 1 for the first time, since these galas had always been relegated to the second channel of public television.

Despite not being an official statement, the director of Originals of RTVE, Ana Mara Bordas, has confirmed it through her personal account on Twitter following the request of a Eurofan. “This year the semifinals of Eurovision should finally be broadcast on La 1, I am sure that the average audience of its slots will rise, they will drag more public for Saturday and the format will be more profitable,” said the Internet user, before which Bordas has answered that “it is already planned”.
