More than 4 million tourists took advantage of the long weekend

Some provinces were fully occupied, such as Neuquén, Mendoza, Entre Rios and Salta. Among the destinations in the Province of Buenos Aires, the most chosen were Mar del Plata, with an occupancy of 80 percent; Villa Gesell, with 93 percent; Pinamar, with 100 percent; next to Necochea, Miramar, San Clemente, San Pedro and Tandil.


Tourism exploded for the long weekend

During the weekend, more than 141 thousand tourists arrived at the Partido de La Costa. This means 65% more visitors than in the same long weekend of 2019, without a pandemic.

From Thursday to Saturday, 1,913 national long-distance bus services, while 4,400 passengers boarded the Argentine Trains services to Chascomús, Mar del Plata, Rosario, San Pedro, Córdoba and Tucumán.

On Thursday, October 7, there were 177 flights and on Friday, October 8, another 194 domestic flights between all lines operating in the country.

Only through Aerolineas Argentinas, 54 thousand people bought their air ticket for different national destinations with scheduled departures between Thursday and Saturday.
