Franco Lobo, 27, died yesterday at noon at the Padilla hospital as a result of a hemorrhage. The young man had entered at 12:30 with a stab wound to the chest.
The neighbor who took him to the hospital reported that the victim had been mortally wounded half an hour earlier by a group of unknown persons in the vicinity of the ATE neighborhood, southwest of the capital.
The Homicide Division of the Police, under the command of commissioners Diego Bernachi and Juana Estequiño, intervened in the case and obtained evidence to suspect that Roberto Orlando Salinas, 27, could be the author of the homicide.
According to police sources, the suspect was located in a house in the Nicolás Avellaneda neighborhood of Cebil Redondo, where “with prior authorization from the property owner, Salinas was arrested,” who was turned over to justice.
The investigation of the fact of blood is in the hands of the prosecutor Ignacio López Bustos, of the Investigative Unit of Homicides I.
