Hanoi and Da Nang refused flights on the first day of 'opening' domestic flights

However, hundreds of people when preparing to check in for two flights to Hanoi and Da Nang had to “cry” because these two cities refused to accept the flight.

According to Zing newspaper, the reason why Noi Bai airport has not been allowed to fly is because it has to wait for Hanoi authorities to “instruct the isolation plan.”

Therefore, the Saigon-Hanoi flight of Vietnam Airlines could not proceed according to the scheduled schedule. A similar situation occurred for two other flights to Noi Bai from Da Nang and Dien Bien.

On the same day, according to Tuoi Tre newspaper, at least dozens of passengers in Tan Son Nhat stood still when informed that Da Nang refused a passenger flight from Saigon, with the reason of “requiring citizens to come and return from other destinations”. areas (groups, hamlets, hamlets, etc.) have no cases of infection in the community within 14 days.”

“Tickets are 100% reserved and the airline will try to arrange the earliest flight for passengers. In the morning, we begged the Da Nang side to accept the flight, but we couldn’t,” an employee of VietJet was quoted as saying.

However, about an hour later, 77 passengers of the flight to Da Nang “breathed” when they received the airline’s notification that the flight was departing.

“The last minute turn of the car left us breathless. At 1 p.m., the announcement that guests were taking advantage of the check-in procedures to board the plane made dozens of people here clapping and bursting with joy,” a passenger was quoted as saying by Tuoi Tre newspaper.

The fact that provinces and cities suddenly had regulations to prevent last-minute flights made airlines “untimely” and these airlines themselves also fell into a passive position.

This situation also contrasts with the direction of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh quoted by newspapers in Vietnam a day ago: “The circulation and transportation must be done uniformly across the country. Localities follow the general regulations, do not issue sub-licenses, do not give sand.”

Previously, according to the schedule of reopening commercial flights from October 10 to 20, each day was expected to have 38 flights, including 13 flights from Saigon to Binh Dinh, Da Nang, Hue, Khanh Hoa provinces.
