Greco-Roman style Georgian wrestlers win two medals at the world championship

At the moment, the Georgian national team has four medals at the World Championship – one silver and three bronze

TBILISI, Oct. 10 – Sputnik. Georgian Greco-Roman wrestlers Leri Abuladze and Ramaz Zoidze won medals for their country on the final day of the World Championships in Oslo.

Abuladze became the vice-champion of the tournament in the weight category up to 63 kg, and Zoidze became the bronze medalist in the weight category up to 67 kg. The first in the final lost 4: 5 to the representative of Iran Maysam Dalhani, and the second defeated Asrat Jafarov from Azerbaijan 8: 0.

Thus, at the moment, the Georgian national team has four medals at the World Championship – one silver and three bronzes. Earlier, Nugzar Tsurtsumia (-55 kg) and Jacob Kajaya (-130 kg) rose to the third step of the podium.

The Georgian national team can replenish the medal box with one more award. In the fight for the third place Lasha Gobadze (-87 kg) will meet with the representative of Denmark – Turpan Bisultanov.
