The former Minister of the Interior of the Nation, Rogelio Frigerio, charged against the measures adopted by the ruling party after the defeat in the Open, Simultaneous and Obligatory Primary (PASO) and accused them of being “filled Argentina with the poor.”
“They continue to hold people hostage, especially the poorest sectors of Argentina. Now they try to treat our young people as stupid and idiots by giving them the graduates’ trip. It is a budget of 7 million pesos that must be used to generate employment “, said Frigerio in La Noche de Mirtha (El Trece).
And he added: “They are filling Argentina with the poor. They lost the elections and they are going to lose them again, because far from listening to the message from the polls, they are redoubling our commitment to everything.”
The candidate for national deputy for Entre Ríos also highlighted the “civic maturity” of society in the PASO.
“People are not stupid,” he said and added: and “they do not give the vote to anyone. This is a break in the future that exists for the entire political leadership to measure up.”
On the other hand, Frigerio referred to the salaries of the political class and considered it necessary to end some “unnecessary expenses” linked to the “political caste.” “Politics also has to make an effort, because the deficit state is Argentina’s main economic problem,” he said.
“There are privileged pensions in Entre Ríos and salaries of one million pesos, or half a million pesos that are not charged in the private sphere and that are charged in the public sector, which must be eliminated. You have to get back to back and face those privileges of politics that we all pay later, “he remarked.
