A violent assault on a young man in Montgeron in Essonne was broadcast overwhelmingly on social networks on October 10. In the video, several young people can be seen attacking an individual barely defended by an older man. In a second sequence, the victim is again severely beaten by three individuals somehow pushed aside by two women.

Information on this news item remains unclear for the time being. The mayor Les Républicains (LR) of the city of nearly 24,000 inhabitants reacted in any case. Sylvie Carillon said she was “deeply shocked by images of an aggression of inhuman violence […] that circulate on social networks ”.
It specifies that an “investigation [est] in progress to identify the victim and the attackers ”. She ensures that there is currently a “total mobilization because these acts have no right of citizenship”.

LR president of the Essonne departmental council, François Durovray also denounces “an aggression of unheard-of violence”. “The police are investigating to identify the victim and the attackers. We will not let go: these acts have no right of citizenship, ”he also supports.

The deputy of Essonne and president of Debout la France, Nicolas Dupont-Aignan also scandalisé, considering that “the scum [avaient] invented the “recreational lynching”: we beat up with as much hatred as fun. I ask that all light be shed on this man’s assault. No tolerance possible with this savagery ”.
