"El Parra", allegedly involved in the LeBarón family massacre, is linked to the process

The Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR) obtained the connection to the process against Jesús “P”, allegedly involved in the massacre of the LeBarón family in 2019, the Prosecutor’s Office reported this Sunday through a statement.

Jesús “P”, alias “El Parra”, is accused of the crime of organized crime with the purpose of committing crimes against health.

“An accusation was made against Jesús” P “, for the aforementioned crime, in which the District Judge Specialized in the Accusatory Criminal System of the Federal Criminal Justice Center in the State of Mexico, granted the informal preventive detention, “said the agency in a statement.

On September 22, 2020, the judge in the case issued an order to bind the trial against Jesús “P”, for the crime subject to imputation, imposing four months of complementary investigation. Faced with said resolution, the defendant filed indirect protection.

On October 1, a new hearing was held at the Federal Criminal Justice Center in the State of Mexico, based in Almoloya de Juárez, in which the judge in charge decided to bind “El Parra” to the trial for being likely responsible for the crime of organized crime with the purpose of committing crimes against health.

“El Parra” was imposed unofficial preventive detention at the Federal Center for Social Readaptation Number 5 “Oriente”, and was granted two months of complementary investigation.

On October 6, Uriel Lorenzo Valle Domínguez, alias “El 18” and a member of the criminal group La Línea, was arrested for the crimes of organized crime and homicide, and for being one of the alleged perpetrators of the massacre of members of the LeBarón family in Bavispe, Sonora.

This was reported by the Secretariat of National Defense (Sedena) that, as part of the Interinstitutional Group for the Bavispe case, made up of personnel from the Office of the Attorney General of the Republic (FGR), the National Guard (GN) and the National Intelligence Center (CNI), They completed the arrest warrant against the also head of the plaza in Nuevo Casa Grandes, Chihuahua.

“El 18” arrived that Wednesday at the Toluca International Airport, in the State of Mexico, to be presented to the competent authorities at the Federal Center for Social Readaptation No. 1 “El Altiplano”, in Almoloya de Juárez.
