Coronavirus: 15 deaths and 331 new cases were registered in the country

The Ministry of Health of the Nation reported that 15 deaths and 331 new cases of covid-19 were registered in the last 24 hours. With these data, there are already 115,473 deaths officially registered at the national level and 5,265,859 those infected since the start of the pandemic in March 2020.

The health portfolio specified that 56.79% (188 people) of those infected today (331) correspond to the City and the province of Buenos Aires.

Currently there are 971 hospitalized with coronavirus in intensive care units, with a percentage of occupancy of adult beds of 35.4% in the country and 40.5% in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area.

Of the 5,265,859 infected, 97.42% (5,132,401) were discharged and 17,985 are confirmed active cases.

The report stated that 8 men died, 5 in Buenos Aires; 1 in Chubut; and 2 in Córdoba. 7 women also died: 5 in Buenos Aires; 1 in Córdoba; and 1 in Mendoza.

Today 119 cases were registered in the province of Buenos Aires; in the City of Buenos Aires, 69; in Catamarca, 3; in Chaco, 6; in Chubut, 7; in Corrientes, 2; in Córdoba, 29; in Entre Ríos, 3; in Formosa, 1; in Jujuy, 6; in La Pampa, 13; in La Rioja, 3; in Mendoza, 1; in Misiones, 2; in Neuquén, 6; in Río Negro, 9; in Salta, 10; in Santa Cruz, 2; in Santa Fe, 16; in Santiago del Estero, 1; in Tierra del Fuego, 1; and in Tucumán, 22.

Meanwhile, San Luis and San Juan did not register cases.

The Ministry also indicated that 22,236 tests were carried out in the last 24 hours and since the beginning of the outbreak there have been 24,236,377 diagnostic tests for this disease.
