Taking advantage of the sun on Sunday, a 29-year-old man decided to go out and ride his bike in Olmos, without imagining that this would put him in danger. However, he was at the mercy of two motorcycle jets that cornered him on Route 36, leaving him with no chance of resisting or attempting a maneuver to prevent theft, official sources confirmed.
It happened around 19 o’clock that day, when the victim – who practices cycling – was driving a Firebird with 29 orange wheels, from 44 to 66.
“Upon reaching the height of Calle 50, a 150 black motorcycle with two men on board was put alongside him,” explained an investigator, clarifying that the boy did not see the thieves “since they locked him up and the one who was in the back of the motorcycle pointed a chrome revolver at him ”.
In a few seconds they appropriated the bicycle (the passenger took care of loading it) and escaped along Route 36 towards 44. The cyclist, who lives in Los Hornos, was unharmed. Shortly after, he went to the Fifteenth Police Station – with jurisdiction in Olmos – to file the complaint. They investigate the connection with other similar cases in the area.
