Walter Orlando Rodriguez was sentenced this morning to life imprisonment for doubly aggravated homicide – for the bond and for having been perpetrated in a context of gender violence – after the femicide of the radio production company Vanesa Lobo Noble recognize the responsibility of the fact, in the framework of an abbreviated trial developed in the provincial courts.

In order not to revictimize them, and having jurisprudence in this regard, we ask that this agreement be accepted, ”said the Public Prosecutor’s Office official.
And he remarked that, in order to agree to the agreement, the accused had to acknowledge the attributed fact. “I am sorry for what happened. I apologize. Meanwhile, the victim’s mother, represented at the hearing by the complaint, commented that she accepted the shortened trial to prevent her granddaughter from being exposed. “We need my daughter to rest in peace,” he said. Subsequently, the defense and the complaint waived the recourse to appeal for the sentence to be final. Finally, the intervening judge validated the agreement due to the sufficient evidence for the guilt of the act and requested that the accused be housed in the Villa Urquiza prison service.
